Acer 5000 Notebook Heatup Problem

Posted on 10:56 by Unknown
My Acer 5000 notebook heats up and automatically shuts down after some stressing of the CPU, I realized the problem when i was playing an old game that I thought was not heavy and was in grasp of my acer 5000 specifications, initially my system got struck after playing that game for about an hour, I restarted and it turned back on perfectly but it did the same thing after running just for 15minutes. After that I thought there might be some virus that is instructing the system to halt and sometimes restart, so I decided to reformat and fresh install my system windows, thus eliminating any chance of virus survival, but unfortunately my notebook got struck during windows installation, the base of my notebook was burning hot, please help me as I have formatted my drives and my system has become a useless dump empty box.

Solution:

Your acer 5000 notebook is suffering from heatup problem, it’s a very common problem in laptops, if you can afford, buy an external heat sink it will cost you some expense, but if you want a simple in house and cost free solution, then simply find a thick flat sheet of steal or iron, place the laptop on it, this sheet of steal or iron will work perfectly as a heat sink for you, simply format the system and install a fresh copy of windows by placing the system on your own home made heat sink, 99% chances are that you will be able to reinstall the windows successfully, but after that you would have to take some precautionary measures before using your system, the first is that you must have to place the system on some hard surface for proper heat exhausting and the other is if you are to run some heavy program or games, simply place your notebook on your home made heat sink, it would sound weird but believe me it worked for me and it definitely would prevent your acer 5000 notebook from heating up.
